Color Wings Effect in PHOTOSHOP

Tutorial

In this tutorial, I will show you the steps I took to create the color wings effect in Photoshop.

This is an intermediate tutorial so some steps can be tricky - if you are having difficulty with it, I suggest you go to the basic section of Photoshop, practice those tutorials first, or watch my previous video of Photoshop, practice those tutorials first, then come back and do this one.

There are some steps we have to follow.

STEP 1:

Open Photoshop.

STEP 2:

Create a new layer by clicking File > New, then set background height, width, color, and resolution.

STEP 3:

Import wall object layer by clicking File > Open, Draw wall object by clicking  Rectangular Marquee Tool select the wall object then move that wall object onto the main Layer by using Move Tool.

STEP 4:

Import boy image by clicking File > Open, unlock that image by clicking the right side of the unlock button, then we have to remove the background of that image by clicking rectangular marquee Tool then click in select and mask option on the property bar, then click select subject, then click OK.

STEP 5:

Import wings object by clicking File > Open, Draw wings object by clicking  Rectangular Marquee Tool select the wings object then move that wings object onto the main Layer by using Move Tool, then place this boy image in front of background wall object.

STEP 6:

After that we have to draw one circle, for that left side of the Toolbar click Ellipse Tool then draw one Ellipse then make a copy of that circle by clicking (crtl+j), then compress that copied ellipse circle, Rasterize both Ellipse circle it is mandatory otherwise it is not possible to cut that circle as how we want, then right-click on the first ellipse circle then click the select pixels then delete you will get cut circle then Deselect that layer by clicking (ctrl+d) then we have to make that circle like the sand type for that go to Filter > blur > Gaussian blur set 9.2 then place it on top of the head, for lightening click on this layer change blending mode of this layer by clicking Screen.

STEP 7:

Using Brush Tool you can give shin for this image, via dragging the layers we can adjust however we want.

STEP 8:

Import one more object by clicking File > Open, then place it at bottom of the layer, via dragging the layers we can adjust however we want, for behind lightening click on Brush Tool then set size and place it behind the boy image.

STEP 9:

Import lightning layer object by clicking File > Open, Draw lightning layer object by clicking  Rectangular Marquee Tool select the wings object then move that lightning layer object onto the main Layer by using Move Tool, then place this lightening layer object to the bottom of the layer, click on this layer change blending mode of this layer by clicking Screen.

Once all editing is done then go to File >Save or else press (ctrl+s) to save that image.
