Photoshop Dark Background Effect

    Tutorial

In this tutorial, I will show you the steps I took to create Photoshop Dark Background Effect.

This is an intermediate tutorial so some steps can be tricky - if you are having difficulty with it, I suggest you go to the basic section of Photoshop, practice that tutorial first, or watch my previous video of  Photoshop, practice that tutorial first, then come back and do this one.

    Details of Tutorials
    • Software: Photoshop CS6
    • Completion of Time: 7 Minutes
    • Difficulty: Medium
    Resources
    • Man
    • Background Image
    • Ellipse Curve

There are some steps we have to follow.

    STEP 1:
    Open Photoshop.

    STEP 2:
Import one image by clicking File > Open, unlock that image by clicking the right side of the unlock button, then we have to remove the background of that image by clicking rectangular marquee Tool then click in select and mask option on the property bar, then click select subject, then click OK, if we removed all the unwanted area then it's well and good otherwise we have to remove explicitly by using Select Tool after selecting that area then press (ctrl+d), then right-click on that layer then click convert to smart object to overcome from mask layer to normal layer.

    STEP 3:
After that we have to set background for this image for that click File > Open then drag that layer and drop into that backside of the image via dragging layers from one above the below or vice versa, then resize that object with respect to the background image, then make a copy of that layer by clicking (crtl+j) to look like a shadow, then right-click on the copied layer then click on Edit > Transform > Rotate 180, then set the opacity for 45% then drag that copied image to the exact opposite of the original image.

    STEP 4:
After that we need to draw one circle, for that left half of the Toolbar click Ellipse Tool then draw one Ellipse then make a duplicate of that circle by clicking (crtl+j), then compress that copied ellipse circle, Rasterize both Ellipse circle its mandatory otherwise its not possible to cut that circle as how we want, then right-click on the first ellipse circle then click the select pixels then delete you will get cut circle then Deselect that layer by clicking (ctrl+d), then we have to make that circle like the sand type for that go to Filter > blur >Gaussian blur set 9.2 in that, then merge that both layer by clicking Merge Layers, make a copy of that circle then rotate that circle like cross mark and place it where you want to exactly that cross circle, then remove unwanted area using Lasso Tool, If all the Editing is done then go to Filter > camera row filter and adjust the color then press Enter.

Finally, our editing is done successfully then goto File > save or else press (ctrl+s) to save that image.
